Congratulations to Doug Dodson on his win August 9th at Path Valley Speedway!

As we often say, we build more than just homes in your Community. Here at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Office, we are active participants in our Central PA Community. One thing Crockett has been engaged in is our love of dirt track racing. For over 36 years, we have sponsored, owned and/or raced cars.

Just this past weekend, Doug Dodson, son of Doug Dodson, President of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Office, won in the Stevens Racing #20 305 ci IMCA sprint car. Doug Dodson (son) began racing at the age of 12 in go-karts.  His father, an accomplished go-kart racer himself with countless wins, helped to shorten Doug’s learning curve, allowing him to win twice in his first year of competition driving the Crockett Log Homes #44. From there, Doug has raced 358 and 410 Sprint cars as well as in the Supersportsman class. Driving the Mopar powered Crockett Log Homes #43, Doug won at Selinsgrove Speedway, setting a 20 lap track record which still stands today.

The Crockett Mopar has won many times throughout the years but this weekend we want to congratulate and celebrate Doug Dodson. Racing has always been a family sport and makes sense that Doug’s wife, Stephanie, is also an accomplished race car driver but just stepped away this season and Doug took over driving her family owned car.

If you’re in Central Pennsylvania, look for Doug with Crockett Homes on the wing of the car. For team info, schedule, stats, and more, visit www.pasprintseries.com.
